Crappy Clothing

Why is it that all of these retailers that “cater” to bigger men always stock thee ugliest, most uncomfortable, out of style clothing.  It looks like everything is for a retired detective retiring to Florida or something.

Don’t we have the right to look good too.  Why are our smaller counterparts provided the newest fashions from the new and stylish quality manufacturers?

These are the things that go through my mind

The 4 Steps To Building A Successful Social Movement
Whether you want to build a school in Africa or start a consulting business, there are four key steps to making it happen (and all of them involve getting the rest of the world to care).
People who study social movements like the French Revolution, women’s rights, and the Arab Spring, show that successful movements follow a predictable pattern:
1. A community forms around a common goal2. The community mobilizes resources3. The community finds solutions (what I call “fourth options”)4. The movement is accepted by (or actually replaces) the establishment
If you understand this pattern and build your project or career or business with this pattern in mind you have a greater chance of success.

Big & Bristled: Men's big and tall alternatives: Etsy

bigandbristled:

I’m starting a new series of posts about alternatives for clothing for the bigger guys. This is my first post. If you’re clothing selection is dictated by the big and tall section and you’re looking for shopping alternatives like me, I have something interesting for you. Lets look at Etsy.

A little about this blog idea

The idea behind this blog is to bring awareness to the fact that big men should have the pleasure of enjoying quality clothing just like anyone else.  Just because we are bigger than mannequins in stores does not mean that we cannot and should not be able to have quality, stylish properly fit clothes.

My goal is to bring awareness to this issue.  So if you agree with this, follow me and join the movement.  I have a plan to bring us the most quality clothing there is, one way or the other.

Fanufactured: Dear clothing manufacturers:

fanufactured:

I have money. I would love to buy your clothes BUT YOU DON’T MAKE THEM IN MY SIZE. OR WHEN YOU DO THEY ARE ACTUALLY SIZED TOO SMALL.

Will you PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF DOG (a) standardize your sizing and (b) stop under-sizing your garments. Also, please take a seat with the whole “$3 more” for sizes…

I can agree
